Aug 12, The French firm Egis Rail is set to apply for an extension for completion of the pending task. The consultant though is yet to submit a formal request for the extension even as the contract expired on August 3.

It is expected to connect with the phase 1 of the metro at Sindhi Camp station and thus provide metro connectivity in all directions of the city.
